Ngina became a topic of discussion on social media after she issued a speech on how to cub unemployment among the youths in the country during the African Philanthropy Forum.

A section on netizens said Ngina should not address youth unemployment due to her social class and family background.

Speaking on Citizen TV during the News Gang show, Ageyo termed the criticism ludicrous.

"First, it is nonsensical to claim that someone from a wealthy family should not talk or indeed have ideas on how to deal with poverty, because are we saying that only poor people know how to deal with poverty? Why are they still poor?"he posed.

"Why do we fight poverty in the first place if only poor people can deal with poverty? What hypocrisy! And then some people say that her speech was rehearsed, movie scripts are rehearsed, great speeches are rehearsed, plays are rehearsed, football matches are rehearsed by the way. what about exams? Aren't there exam rehearsals?" Ageyo noted.

During her speech, she advised youths to pursue causes that were marketable in order to enhance their chance of getting employed.
