Nominated MP Maina Kamanda has yet again been put on notice following his remarks about Rift Valley communities and their integration.
On Sunday, Kamanda claimed that hundreds of Kikuyus are yet to return to their homes in Rift Valley since 2008 following post election violence.
But the remarks have rattled leaders allied to DP William Ruto, with Oscar Sudi now demanding that DCI George Kinoti arrests the nominated MP.
"I want to tell Kamanda to stop spreading stupidity. Kalenjins and Kikiyus have learnt from the past and that's why Ruto and Uhuru decided to work together," said the Kapseret MP.
"If you think the two communities will fight over polls, you're mistaken. Whether Ruto wins or loses, life shall go on," added Sudi, insisting that Kamanda should be arrested.
He warned the nominated MP against speaking on issues affecting Rift Valley people, adding that he's not qualified to speak on behalf of the residents.
Sudi's Monday remarks comes hours after Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah asked Kamanda to resign as National Assembly Cohesion committee chairman.
The Kapseret MP asked Kamanda to identify people who are yet to return to Rift Valley following eviction for their resettlement by the government.
"Let him bring those people on board for resettlement. If Ruto took anything from him, let him go to Karen or Nairobi offices and ask the DP to return it."
