The party has fronted Imran Okoth, brother to former MP the late Ken Okoth, with Sifuna now saying that Imran will beat his rivals with a big margin come November 7.

He has expressed confidence that Kibra residents remain in support of the Orange party, saying that they have made up their mind to ignore all the remaining candidates for Imran.

According to Sifuna, the residents want a continuation of the job that Okoth was doing before his death in July, which will automatically see them replace him with Imran.

"As the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) we are very much aware that the people are with us and they are clear on their minds that they want a continuation of what Ken Okoth was doing," he said on KTN, Wednesday night.

He laughed off claims that ODM is facing stiff opposition from some of the remaining parties, saying that ODM remains in charge and the said competition is just a making of some people.

He said that some people in the race have mastered the art of making up things to make the Kibra by-election appear stiff, which is not the case.

According to him, ODM will win with a very comfortable margin in the much-awaited poll.

"The same tree that gave Kibra Ken Okoth has given them Imran and through him, the legacy will continue. We will win by a comfortable margin," he said.

Also in the race are McDonald Mariga of the ruling Jubilee Party and Amani party's Eliud Owalo, who appear like Imran's closest competitors.
