Rioma Police in Kisii County have managed to recover items that were stolen from Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi's rural home in Metembe.

According to the Sub County OCPD Hillary Talus who spoke on phone on Monday, among the items recovered were TV, utensils, curtains and other valuable kitchen items.

"Yes we recovered the items after investigations. They had been sold for Sh10,000 to a resident of Rioma area. The items are with us in custody for exhibits," he said.

Talus said that the main suspect who is farmer is still under police surveillance.

"The main culprit is still at large. We are tracking him down. The two suspects we arrested have been arraigned in court already," added Tulus.

Marani is notorious in crime related such as theft, defilement and illicit brew, which the police boss promised to deal with.

"Marani is notorious when it comes to crime cases. Theft is high and illicit brewing. This is what as Police will not entertain. We will work day and night to clear the negative record of this area," he claimed.

The police commander noted that the area receives high number of defilement cases ranking them highest within Gusii region.
