ODM Party Treasurer Timothy Bosire has been asked to stop dragging NASA leader Raila Odinga into 2022 polls.
Kisii County Jubilee Party youth Secretary General Isaac Motari claimed that Bosire should stop pushing Raila to vie. Motari accused Bosire over his plot to impose Raila on the people of Gusii region.
"Bosire is not even a Gusii community spokesman to publicly declare that Raila will be on the ballot. Bosire's recent sentiments at a funeral at Miriri area in Kitutu Masaba that Raila will be on the ballot are unacceptable. Voters should get rid off Bosire in 2022," said Motari.
According to Motari, Bosire should instead throw his support behind Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.
The vocal politician reiterated the need for ageing politicians to be allowed to rest for fresh and youthful politicians to take over the leadership of this country.
"While Gusii leaders are pushing for Matiang'i's presidency, it is shameful that Bosire, on the other hand, is busy telling people at funerals that Raila will be on the ballot to vie for the presidency. Raila will still lose terribly should he go ahead to vie again," said Motari.
He was speaking at Etibu village in Bomariba ward on Monday.
