While in an interview on NTV AM Live on Tuesday, Boni Khalwale said that ODM is trying to reinvent themselves through BBI campaign after killing NASA.

The former Ikolomani MP further dismissed the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) talk saying that it's going to be an endless politics.

Currently, there is a hot debate on whether the BBI report should be passed through the parliament or a referendum.

"To me it looks like this thing is going to be endless. ODM has killed its baby, NASA, and they are trying to reinvent themselves," Boni Khalwale is quoted by NTV in a tweet.

The former legislator who is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, however, insisted that the country is going to be built through an act of consensus "because everyone's opinion counts"

Initially, allies of the DP were opposed to the BBI but after the release of the report, they have embraced its recommendations are have been pushing for its implementation through the parliament.

Those allied to ODM leader Raila Odinga are however pushing for the BBI report that proposes among others, creation of a Prime Minister post, to be subjected to a referendum.
