Deputy President William Ruto's daughter Stephanie Jepchumba graduated from Strathmore University on Friday with a degree in law.

The DP took to Instagram to congratulate his daughter.

“Congratulations to Stephanie Ruto on your graduation from Strathmore University with a degree in Law. Your dedication, hard work, self-sacrifice and God's grace has triumphed,” Ruto wrote on Instagram.

As an experienced politician who knows a lot about leadership and law, he also had a piece of advice for his daughter about life after university.

“As you join your peers in the legal profession, may you stand with the tenets of justice, fidelity and impartiality,” he added.

Kenyans also took to Twitter to congratulate Jepchumba on her graduation. 

The Deputy President took some time off his busy schedule to attend the graduation ceremony at Strathmore University.

Secretary of Innovation, Digital and Diaspora Communication in the Office of the President Dennis Itumbi was among those who passed their congratulatory messages via Twitter.

Ruto graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Plant Ecology at the University of Nairobi (UoN) late last year after six years of enrollment.
