Lawyer Nelson Havi has asked the government to take action against Silverstone Airline.
In a tweet, Havi said that it is sad that the Airline has shown the potential of causing deaths yet the government has not taken any action against it.
The remarks come after a plane belonging to the airline on Monday was forced to make an emergency landing at the Eldoret International Airport.
“The Government of Kenya is patiently waiting for a Silverstone Aviation plane to kill several Kenyans before taking action. Patience pays here in Kenya. In the meantime, stop noising. Just don’t board the damn plane,” he tweeted.
The management of the airline said that the plane was headed from Lodwar to Nairobi before it crashed. The plane had four passengers on board who were not hurt.
The incident occurred after wheel number three was lost.
“We would like to confirm that earlier today our flight Dash 8 – 300 from Lodwar to Nairobi experienced an incident during takeoff and as a result, lost the number 3 wheel assembly,” read Silverstone Airlines' statement quoted by Citizen Digital.
The passengers were forced to book another flight after the incident.
