In a letter dated August 30, seen by Hivisasa, the party has accused Osoro of refusing to comply with the party rules and regulations, among them failure to pay his subscriptions.

"We here by instruct your office to remove from the KNC Party register the name of Hon. Sylvanus Onyiego Osoro as per the party's National executive council recommendations," read part of the letter signed by the party's secretary-general James Ogembo Mases.

The vocal MP, an ally of Deputy President William Ruto has also been accused of promoting another party's interests forgetting the party that put him in the office during the 2017 general elections.

Osoro has been closely working with the DP as one of the key speers of his 2022 agenda in Gusii region.

On Friday last week, during the burial of former Nyaribari Masaba MP Dr Hezron Manduku, the MP appeared to have cooled his support for the Deputy President.

Should KNC succeed to struck Osoro's name from its register, then his seat will be declared vacant, triggering a by-election.
