Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago was on Sunday part of participants in the 5 kilometres fun race that marked the start of the County Assemblies Sports Association (CASA) games.

The race started from the Uasin Gishu County Assembly buildings and ended at the Eldoret Sports Club that will be hosting most of the CASA games.

The games bringing together 47 County Assemblies run up to October 5th 2019.

Deputy President William Ruto is expected to officially open the games on Monday.
Teams will compete in various disciplines such as football, volleyball, netball, athletics among others.
