Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has vowed not to support ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga whatsoever. Speaking on Sunday after attending the installation ceremony of presiding Bishop Abraham Mulwa at AIC Milimani, Kuria recounted the events during the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) meeting in Mombasa.

The lawmaker said that he was not happy with the fact that his colleagues demanded that everyone calls Raila "Baba". He argued that the remarks of the leaders were not welcoming, adding that he will not change his tune as far as the report is concerned. "It was a Constitutional requirement yesterday to call Raila baba", Kuria said.

The lawmaker also said that he is ready to go to hell if the requirement to be in government is to back the ODM boss. Kuria also insisted that he is an independent person, adding that he will not relent to speak the truth whenever he feels aggrieved by any issue in life.

"If supporting Raila is the ticket to heaven let me go to hell," Kuria said.Kuria and his colleagues faced hostility on Saturday during the BBI Mombasa rally. The allies of Deputy President William Ruto were roughed several times when they travelled to attend the event. Raila was forced to halt the rally prematurely after he sensed tension at the Mama Ngina Drive.
