This is after Philip Murgor, the lawyer representing the widow Sarah Wairimu, engaged in a near fight with former Gatundu North MP Patrick Muiruri, a close friend of the deceased.

Fracas reportedly emerged after Murgor attempted to stop Muiruri from making his speech at the burial, but mourners intervened and calmed down the duo.

"This is not his funeral. He must learn to act with civility," Murgor was heard rebuking the former legislator as quoted by the Star.

In his remarks, Muiruri disclosed he was the last person to speak to Cohen on the day he was reported missing, adding he knew his friend was dead the moment detectives launched his search.

"Even when people were saying he is missing, I knew he was murdered. I was the last person to speak to him and what he told me I have told the DCI," he said.

Cohen, the chief executive of Tobs Kenya Golf Safaris, vanished on the night of July 19 and 20 only for his badly mutilated body to be found in a septic tank on September 13.

In a past interview, Muiruri claimed Cohen had informed him his life was in danger and was suspecting his wife had ill motives against him.

“He was very concerned about his life. He never hid the fact that if anything happens to him, if he is found dead anywhere, Sarah his wife would be responsible,” the ex-legislator said as quoted by Citizen Digital.
