Nyaribari Chache Constituency education officers have been lauded following good KCPE results that schools in the area recorded in 2019 exams.
Richard Tong'i, the area MP speaking when he met with the education officials to deliberate on matters education on the recently released 2019 KCPE results said he is proud of the good work education officers are doing.
"I am happy with the good results 2019 KCPE candidates recorded. As the MP, I will work closely with teachers and everyone in the education sector going forward to ensure our children are attaining good marks and grades," said Tongí who also called on the officials not to shy off from coming up with suggestions on areas of improvement on the education standard.
The MP also challenged local leaders to support learning institutions as well offer financial support to learners from needy families.
"Bright but needy learners across the constituency should be helped to pay school fees. Local politicians should first put a focus on education before seeking support from the electorates. I am ready to work with all leaders to boost the education standards," the Jubilee Party MP stated.
He further appealed to parents to invest in their children through education.
