Sharing the same bed with your son or daughter is essential and important to especially the kid. However, some argue that it is not a good idea. 

The risks that come with co-sleeping with your baby can't outweigh the benefits. 

Different studies have noted it is generally good for the family. 

Bed-sharing ensures that child sleeps better which is cardinal. For the child, sleeping becomes easier and a child can fall asleep very fast especially when they are beside their parents. 

The mother will not have a hard time when she wants to breastfeed the child. So it becomes easier since she doesn't have to jump out of her bed to feed him or her. It would be easier for the mom to sedate the baby until he or she hit the sack. 

"Bed-sharing works so well because breastfeeding mothers and babies are hardwired to be together during vulnerable sleep periods. When they bed-share, the baby's happier and doesn't have to cry to get the mother's attention, and she doesn't have to get out of bed - she just latches the baby on and maybe even falls back to sleep," explains Diana West of La Leche League International, a nonprofit organization that promotes breastfeeding
