Kenya national men basketball team, Morans thrashed Morocco 66 - 99 to book a berth in the final of the inaugural FIBA AfroCan Basketball Championship in an enthralling semi-final, played on Thursday night in Bamako, Mali.
Morans will play the final against Group B rivals DR Congo who narrowly edged out stubborn Angola 84 - 78 in another scintillating semi-final.
Kenya's absence from the continental affairs for a long time played to their advantage against dominant Morocco.
As a result, Morocco went into the game underrating what Morans were capable of, and it proved costly to them as they found themselves trailing by 31 points to Cliff Owour side heading into the fourth quarter.
