Renowned NTV journalist Ken Mijungu has bashed K24 News anchor for not recognising his friend and colleague Dennis Okari in her Facebook post.
Mijungu was angered by the fact that Kyallo who showered praises to her new partner for being there for her daughter and failed to acknowledge Okari's role when their daughter, Ivanna was unwell.
"Yesterday I went to sleep with a heavy heart. I read a post by my colleague Betty. While she has the right to post about Ivanna and her challenges this year and thank God for it, she deliberately exposed my best friend Dennis as an irresponsible father," Mijungu wrote on his Facebook page.
Mijungu further revealed that Betty Kyallo denied him access to his friend's daughter but only allowed Okari.
"At Nairobi hospital, Betty blocked my access to the cubicle where Ivanna was, allowing only Dennis in. I stayed by the glass doors from 11 am to 2pm watching Ivan who I must say was very sick," the NTV journalist wrote.
Mijungu added that Okari was by his daughter's side day and night and contributed towards the more than Sh7million needed to offset the hospital bills.
Betty Kyallo's daughter, who was suffering from an autoimmune disease known as AEDM, was admitted at Nairobi hospital for about four months but has now fully recovered.
