Mwaura claims that the movement is creating unnecessary political attention in the country.

Speaking on Citizen TV's Day Break Show on Monday, the nominated legislator asked DP Ruto's allies to stop fueling 2022 succession debates.

"The country is slowly being driven to campaign mood by the so-called 'Tanga Tanga' and 'Kitaeleweka' movements yet we have three years left to the general election," he said noting that the two groups are getting afraid for nothing.

Mwaura also said politicians must give Jubilee government time and space to deliver its development pledges to Kenyans.

He also adviced the 'Tanga Tanga'  movement to stop engaging opposition leader Raila Odinga in political barbs.

"As long as they continue talking about Raila and his influence in government then they will cause more distraction especially in Jubilee Party," noted Mwaura.

A section of DP Ruto's allies has been accusing Raila of plotting to scuttle Jubilee Party.

On Sunday during a church Service at PCEA Mwiki in Nairobi, DP Ruto openly castigated Raila, accusing him of hiding behind the handshake with president Uhuru Kenyatta to cause trouble in the ruling party, claims the former Prime Minister has denied.
