North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko has urged fellow politicians to shun abusive campaigns and instead work together to bring about change in their areas.
Speaking on Thursday at a funeral function in his constituency, the MP said that there are some of the politicians who lost in the last general elections and they are busy spreading fake propaganda about elected leaders.
"I take this opportunity to call upon all my colleague politicians to shun abusive campaigns and fake propagandas they are spreading day in day out so that we join together and help to bring change to these areas we were elected to serve. I urge you to relax so that when 2022 comes you will be able to raise those politics and maybe by so doing you may land where you want as per to your wishes," said Nyamoko.
The MP also said that what will only measure his probability of winning in 2022 for a second tenure is his actions and the development record he will set now and not propaganda from his political enemies.
"The only way that will determine whether I will be elected or not is my development agenda I will set now when I am in power, If my development record will be good I am sure I will have to win this seat again, but if it will be worse then I will lose terribly. So let those colleagues think about this and give humble time to us as leaders to fulfil our promises," he noted.
