Political commentator Ambrose Weda has said that the Nation is headed in the wrong direction, with President Uhuru Kenyatta appearing to be losing control.
Speaking on Wednesday morning, Weda decried a worsening economy and poor policies, saying that its time the president sought help from those who served before him.
He advised the Head of State to retreat to his predecessor Mwai Kibaki's shed and ask for advise, considering that the ex-President managed to strengthen the economy.
The analyst noted that Kibaki remains strong and can be a great source of advice for Uhuru who seems to be putting his efforts in the wrong places and not addressing real issues.
"He should ask Kibaki, and I trust he (Kibaki) is still strong, how did you do this, economy and business, because we are stuck," Weda said during KBC English Service's The Big Conversation.
He also noted that the Jubilee government has been unable to address the real issues affecting Kenyans like agriculture, instead, putting too much effort on infrastructure.
Through this, the High Court advocate said, Kenya has ended up having some of the best road and rail networks in the region but at the same time with hungry peoples.
"We have roads and railways but they are not of any help. It's the policy decisions which are wrong," he noted.
