Speaking during an interview with Milele FM on Wednesday, the Reggae DJ identified education, sanitation and waste management, and youth unemployment as the main areas he will focus on if given a chance to join the National Assembly.

"I will continue promoting education as the late Ken Okoth was doing and address poor sanitation which is a major challenge in Kibra. I will also seek employment opportunities for the many jobless youths(Nitaendeleza elimu bora iliyoanzishwa na marehemu mbunge Ken Okoth, sanitation Kibra ni mbovu sana ,pia kutafutia vijana ajira kwa sababu ni wengi wana kazi)," Kriss said.

Kriss has been the talk of town after he knelt before Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga, during a political rally in Kibra to unveil aspirants seeking the party's nomination for the by-election slated for November 7.

During the interview, the Reggae DJ defended his action saying the knelt before the ODM boss out of respect.

"Kneeling before Baba (Raila) was a sign that I highly respect him(Kupiga magoti mbele ya Baba ilikuwa ni ishara ya heshima kwa baba)," said the NTV's Jamrock show host.

He also addressed a viral photo of him together with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto during the 2017 campaigns.

He denied being a member of the Jubilee party, claiming he had been hired to offer entertainment services during an event when the photo was taken.

"I was at work on the 2017 photo doing rounds on social media with the President and the DP and there is no problem to be pictured with the two(Nilikuwa kazi katika picha inayosambaa mitandaoni ya mwaka wa 2017 na Rais na Naibu wake hakuna makosa kupiga picha na Rais)," he said.
