The National Police Service has released names of three individuals it has described as most wanted persons.
In a notice to the public on Tuesday, police named; Arafat Kyalo Masai, Juma Waziri, and Salim Mohamed Ahmed as most wanted persons by security agencies.
According to the notice, the three individuals are armed and dangerous, and are responsible for a number of criminal activities in Nairobi, and Mombasa
"Police are looking for the following in connection with criminal activities in Nairobi and Mombasa, they are armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts should contact police on 999, 911, or 112 or report to the nearest police station," the notice read accompanied by the faces of the sought-after criminals.
The development comes as law enforcement authorities continue to wage war on criminal gangs terrorising citizens across the country.
These gangs have been implicated in muggings and killings.
A few weeks ago, members of the so called Wakali Kwanza gang went on a rampage, stealing and injuring residents with machetes.
Speaking ahead of the festive season, Inspector General of Police Hilary Mutyambai assured Kenyans that the police are on high alert during the festive season to ensure criminals are dealt with.
