Lawyers Ahmednasir Abdullahi and Donald Kipkorir were on Tuesday involved in a Twitter spat over the alleged plot to oust Chief Justice David Maraga.
It all started when Kipkorir took to his Twitter handle to defend Maraga following his claims that he was not treated with the respect that he deserves.
The controversial lawyer said that Maraga deserves respect from all corners and argued that he has proven that he has good plans for Kenyans.
He also said that the CJ was quoted out of context after he lamented over alleged mistreatment.
"AA, CJ’s Speech was over 2 Hours, the line on Mercedes was an hyperbole to dramatize his humiliation & it was for three minutes .... SAD you are joining the lynch mob against the CJ .... Our CJ deserves total respect including all perks & benefits appertaining his Office," Kipkorir tweeted.
The tweet did not augur well with Abdullahi who reminded his fellow lawyer that he knows very little about the Judiciary.
The Senior Counsel also Kipkorir to do more research before making any remarks.
"You are a new "convert"...what do you know about judicial independence and Kenya's struggle for judicial reforms?...concentrate on the simple and mundane matters that excite you," he responded.
