Makueni County Woman Representative Rose Museo has asked Kamba leaders to respect Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's decision to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking in Wote on Monday, Museo said it was wise for Kalonzo to work with Uhuru, since the president is on his final lap.
He said some leaders from the region should stop forcing Kalonzo to work with Deputy President William Ruto, since the Wiper leader is also interested in the presidency come 2022.
"Uhuru's term ends in 2022 and according to the Constitution, he can't vie again. If Kalonzo has decided to work with him, it means Uhuru will support him in his bid come 2022," said Museo.
The vibrant legislator warned leaders against attacking each other in public, adding that they should find ways of solving their issues privately and amicably.
"Let us stop washing our dirty linen in the media and making everyone know what's ailing us. Let's talk as leaders and solve our differences without firing shots at each other," she said.
Her sentiments were supported by Wiper Nominated MCA Serah Mulwa, who said Kalonzo's decision shouldn't be disputed since he's the Kamba Kingpin.
"Muthama you advised and guided Kalonzo since 2013 this one time let Kalonzo decide for himself and you should respect his decision," said Mulwa.
