The Harambe Starlets are back into the country from Malawi where they lost 3-2 to their hosts in an Olympic qualifier.
Starlets are set to face Malawi in a return leg at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos county.
David Ouma, who is the coach of the women team, told members of the press upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) that the team had learnt its lessons and was ready for the return leg.
"We have done the evaluation because it is back to back and the players are now psyched up to minimise the threats that they have but in general I think that we have a very strong team to overcome this second leg," the Starlets' head coach said.
Fans will not, however, be allowed to attend the return leg at the Kenyatta Stadium.
This is because the stadium does not have the standing to stage an international fixture.
According to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) rules and regulations, fans are should not be allowed to attend matches in stadiums that don't have the standing of hosting international fixtures for security purposes.
The Starlets require a win of any kind kind to proceed to the next level of the qualifiers.
Women football in Kenya is not as popular as men's football and has long struggled to attract fans to the stands.
