On Tuesday, through his YouTube channel, the singer stated that the results of tests done and recommendations by doctors from BLK Hospital in New Delhi, India were completely different from those of Kenyan doctors.

"Hi Friend! I thank you so much that so far you have been an encouragement to me during this time of my treatment. The results of the tests finally came out and they were quite SHOCKING to me! All the same God is on the throne! God bless you!" he said.

According to the 'Muhadhara' hitmaker, doctors in Kenya had advised him to undergo a throat surgery.

However, he decided to seek a second opinion in India for purposes of clarity.

At BLK Hospital, the doctors cautioned him that the surgery could have changed his voice completely. More so, they noted that he did not need surgery, as it was not needed to correct his condition.

“When I came here, first of all the doctor because he already had my case, and he knew that I sing, he told me, ‘listen James, the operation that was to be done on you would have made you never to sing again because your voice would have permanently changed,” he said.

Jimmy Gait expressed his shock as to why the Kenyan doctors wanted to do a surgery on him yet they knew he uses his voice to earn a living.

“For me that was truly shocking. I could not believe it,” he added.
