Homa Bay county woman rep has torn into Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale, who also doubles up as the leader of the majority in the national assembly.
Speaking during a Team Embrace rally in Garissa Primary School on Saturday, the outspoken Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) legislator accused of Duale allowing his majority position to get into his head.
Wanga claimed that Mr Duale had developed a habit of hurling insults at leaders who held a different view from him.
"There is a guy who when he comes into parliament, he allows his majority leader position to get into his head (Kuna jamaa hapa Garissa, unajua akikuja huko bungeni anasema yeye ni majority sana)," the woman rep said.
Gladys Wanga vouched for Governor Korane who is seen as an opponent of Duale.
She said that the majority leader was in the business of attacking the Garissa county boss.
Aden Duale has not been seeing eye to eye with the leaders who are part of the Team Embrace partly given the group's apparent opposition to Deputy President Dr William Ruto's 2022 presidential aspirations.
Wanga claimed that there were threats made to the group's members not to come to the county but she said the women leaders defied the threats.
She assured that Embrace would come again to Garissa.
