In a message on her Instagram page, Nabayet expressed gratitude towards Otile Brown and Kenyans in general for the great love they had shown her.

She was nonetheless quick to add that heartbreak was a serious matter that could not just be brushed off easily. According to Nabayet, it would take more than just a song to heal the heartbreak and rekindle the relationship.

The Ethiopian beauty commended the singer for being brave enough to put his pride aside and apologize. She also added that she prays and wishes for him to be successful.

"Dear in-laws y’all are the sweetest and I have seen your kind words and unwavering support since day one and I have no idea what I did to deserve such love. However, love is not a game, heartbreak is no joke. It’s going to take a lot more than a song to heal and rekindle.

My heart will always beat for him but unfortunately life has brought us here. I appreciate the effort, I really do. It takes one hell of a man to put aside pride and apologise. Maybe one day we will cross paths again. OB I am forever grateful for you. I will always be praying for your success and wishing you all the best in life," Nabayet wrote on Instagram.

On Wednesday, Otile Brown released a song in which he hinted some of the reasons for the break up while at the same time apologizing for the heartbreak.

Nabayet maintained that she still had feelings for the singer despite everything.
