In a video that has been doing rounds on social media, the angry members of the church could not put up with the lawmaker and the entire Kieleweke team as they chanted songs of disapproval upon the arrival of the lawmaker.

The church goers are seen with placards as they shout at the convoy of the leaders.

They faulted the 68-year old lawmaker for allegedly fighting with leaders who are as young as his grandchildren.

A week ago, Kamanda was chased out of a church in Murang'a after he differed with Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro during a fundraiser.

Elsewhere, Ndindi Nyoro apologised for the altercation he had with Kamanda.

He asked the members of the church and entire nation to forgive him as well as Kamanda following the incident.

"The Gitui Catholic Church incident was regrettable and on behalf of Mr Maina Kamanda and his team, I apologise to the Catholic Church," the MP said, as quoted by Daily Nation.

He made the remarks at Igwe ACK Church, which is located a few meters from Gitui Catholic Church on Sunday.

The fracas between the two leaders has caused mixed reactions from different quarters.
