Controversial Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika revealed during a recent interview how negative comments on social media affected her while she was beginning as a socialite.
Speaking to Amina Abdi on NTV’s The Trend, Vera confessed that she was at some point pushed to the extent of calling her mother while crying.
“When I got into the industry it was different. I used to get really torn down by this. I remember I got to a point where I used to call my mom and cry. Yeah and I’ll be like ‘mom they said that I did this’. I literally used to crush down in the first few months and then I got used to it and with time I just grew a thick skin actually nowadays I love the negative comments because I feel like personally, I feel like this people don’t hate you, they just love to hate,” Vera Sidika stated during the interview.
The popular socialite who is also the CEO of Vera Beauty Parlor revealed that she has learnt to convert the attention she gets on social media into business.
Vera Sidika began as a socialite and a video vixen but she has in the recent days transformed into a singer and a business lady.
