Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has accused incumbent Governor Alfred Mutua of allegedly being corrupt.
Muthama who spoke on Wednesday in Wamunyu, Mwala sub-county said that Mutua is busy pointing fingers at other people but forgets he is allegedly culpable of corruption as well.
"The person who will take over Machakos will have a hard time with the many corruption cases. What's funny is that Mutua stands up to ask Chief Justice Maraga to fast track corruption cases as if he is clean," said Muthama.
He vowed to have him charged over corruption should he become Machakos' Governor in 2022.
"I tell you Mutua I will take you out the way a lion takes out a warthog from a hole. Even if you go to Dubai, I will bring you back in a seatless plane," vowed Muthama.
Muthama has gone public about his interest in the county's top seat come 2022.
He also fired salvos at MPs for burdening taxpayers with their clamour for more allowances.
"First they asked for housing allowance then night allowances as if that was not enough they are now asking for five-star hotel services burdening mwananchi more," he said.
