Diana Marua, the wife of popular Kenyan gospel musician Bahati has opened up on how she was cyberbullied after getting engaged to the musician.
Diana revealed that she used to cry due to the negativity that she was facing on social media.
The cyberbullying became too much to the point that she at times told Bahati she could no longer continue with the relationship.
With time, however, she learnt that she had no other option than to find a way of dealing with the negativity and therefore developed a thick skin for the online bullies.
"I remember sometime back negativity really used to get to me. You know cyberbullying, people who say trash about you and I remember it got to a point when I used to cry myself to sleep. I even used to go to my hubby and tell him I cannot do this anymore. But with time God gives you the grace cause it reached to a point where I said this is the life I chose and whatever I do people are going to attack me," Diana Marua stated as quoted by Kiss 100.
Diana Marua and Bahati are one of the most renown celebrity couples in the country.
