Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has mourned renowned city lawyer and businessman Karanja Kabage.
In a tweet on Saturday, Passaris remembered Karanja Kabage (KK) as a good man who was also her friend.
"Karanja Kabage was a friend and a good man. I'm saddened to learn of his untimely demise. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in Peace KK," she said.
Karanja perished in a road accident on Friday night while driving to his home in Karen, Nairobi.
His family and friends confirmed that Kabage was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Nairobi Hospital.
His death is a big blow to the country, and comes barely a week after the death of Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore.
Surprisingly, Kabage attended Bob's memorial service at the All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi on Thursday.
Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja mourned Kabage as a great man full of wisdom.
"Goodbye my friend Karanja Kabage. I will deeply miss your nuggets of invaluable wisdom and advice. Where, o death, is your victory?" he said.
