Kabazi MCA Peter Mbae has said that his life is in danger.
The MCA said certain people are behind his life because he refused to be compromised on the case involving the compensation of Patel dam victims.
Mbae was on Wednesday having a meeting with the victims in Solai before the group was dispersed by police officers who declared the meeting illegal.
The politician said police officers are also planning to charge him with trumped up charges.
"All this because I refused to be compromised. Because I chose to say and do what I think God would want me to say and do as an MCA. Anything can happen when police are looking for you and when you get into their custody, but let the world know I have done my best in my own little way; the battle is not about me but hundreds of victims and the larger community," Mbae said.
There have been disputes over the compensation of Solai residents whose property was destroyed by the ravaging waters of the dam after it broke its banks.
