Uasin Gishu chairperson of Team Hustler Movement Irene Malel has said that plans by the ODM leader Raila Odinga to block William Ruto's presidency in 2022 will not succeed.
Malel who unsuccessfully vied for the Uasin Gishu Woman Rep seat in 2017 says the DP will be Kenyans, 5th president, whether those opposed to him like it or not.
This, she said, is because Ruto is loved and supported across the country regardless of their political or tribal affiliations.
“I want to tell the opposition leader Raila Odinga and his allies that Wliiam Ruto is an anointed leader and whether you call him names meant to tarnish his name you will not succeed. What God has chosen no man can stop,” said Malel.
She spoke to the press in Eldoret town on Saturday where she noted that Ruto is the best-suited candidate to be Kenya's next head of state as he has what it takes due to his development record which speaks for itself.
"As deputy president's supporters we will move county to county, constituency to constituency and ward to ward campaigning for him to ensure that he clinches the presidency,” she noted.
Malel further called on Kenyans of all political divide to support William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid noting that he is the one who will transform the country and give hope to suffering Kenyans.
