Joseph Irungu alias Jowie has deleted Jacque Maribe's photos from his Instagram page.
Jowie who is the main suspect over the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani, has deleted most of his photos from Instagram, mostly those that Maribe had appeared in.It is however, not clear when Jowie deleted the photos, but a quick scan through his Instagram page shows he has spared 22 photos only. This is raises concerns because he has been in police custody since September 2018, where we understand inmates are not allowed to access the internet or rather communications devices like phones and computers.
Jowie has also posted another photo of him taken in a company of an unknown woman.
From the new photo which was actually posted on Friday afternoon, the background indicates the two were in a pub.
Jowie did not not caption the photo apart from a smiling emoji.
His decision to delete Maribe's photos from his social media comes about ten months since the former Citizen TV journalist did the same.
Maribe earlier this year deleted Jowie's pictures from her Instagram and only spared one, whose captioned talked about their love and how they were growing together.
She later deleted the photo.
"We've been together for a while now, We're growing stronger every day now, It feels so good and there's no doubt, I will stay with you...As each morning brings sunrise, And the flowers bloom in springtime, On my love, you can rely," read Maribe's caption in part on Jowie's photo that was later pulled down.
Both Maribe and Jowie deleting photos of their past might indicate their love has ended.
