Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has questioned Tangatanga politicians' source of income after it emerged that they donate too much money.
According to the lawyer, the politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto give out more money than Safaricom, the country's telecommunications giant.
In a tweet on Monday, Kipkorir compared Safaricom's donations to those he alleged were for Tangatanga politicians.
''Safaricom, the Most Profitable Company in Africa has donated Kshs.1.8 Billion to Charity in Ten Years. This translates to paltry Kshs. 3.4m per week. TangaTanga Politicians combined, give away over Kshs. 20m per Week. How can they have more money than Safaricom?'' asked Donald Kipkorir.
Tangatanga, a group drumming support for Ruto's 2022 presidential bid has been accused on various occasions, for donating millions of money whose sources have been questioned.
Despite the criticisms, Ruto and his allies have on different functions affirmed that they will not stop donating to churches and different groups in the country.
The DP is also on record asking those questioning where he gets the money he dishes out to leave him alone.
