Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha on Wednesday released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results at KNEC headquarters.
In his speech, Magoha revealed that the top student, Buluma Tony, from Kapsabet Boys' High School in Nandi County led with a mean point of 87.159.

In this year's examinations, females candidates performed better in English, CRE, Home science and sign language.
"16 subjects significantly improved, 11 declined. English, Swahili, Chemistry, Biology, physics. Results improved with females doing well in English, CRE, Home science, sign language," said the CS Magoha as quoted in a tweet by Citizen TV.
