Tanzanian highly rated singer Diamond Platnumz missed out on the concluded held Soundcity MVP Awards that was held in Lagos Nigeria over the weekend.
Soundcity MVP awarded artists across Africa, with Kenya's rapper, Khaligraph Jones emerging to be the only Kenyan and artist from East Africa to appear on the list.
The rapper was crowned as the best rapper in Africa.
However, Diamond missed out on the list regardless of his fruitful year, 2019.
Diamond nevertheless took to social media and congratulated winners.
On Sunday, he posted on Instagram where thanked the event organizers.
"Thank you for having me @soundcityafrica , MVP Awards Last night was More than 🔥..... Congrats to the all Winners," Diamond posted.
