Speaking in Baringo on Sunday, the DP claimed that outsiders have deployed some insiders to do the job and have paid them with clear instructions to rock it from within.

He urged those raising issues to stop shaking the party instead, embrace the available resolution channels to iron out their issues with the party and with each other.

"There are some party members who have been paid to destroy Jubilee from within and make us look like we are in a crisis," Ruto stated.

He made the remarks at Sinoin in Eldama Ravine, where he attended a church service which also doubled up as a fundraiser.

The DP added that together with President Uhuru Kenyatta, they formed the party ahead of the 2017 polls not to win elections, but to unite the nation and suppress hatred and tribalism.

His remarks come at a time when the once invincible party seems to be on the verge of collapse with the emergence of new factions within it.

They include the Kieleweke group allied to Uhuru and the rival, Tangatanga group allied to DP Ruto which have been involved in verbal exchanges lately, each blaming the other for Jubilee's woes.

The others are the Wanjiku Movement group led by Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and independent members silent on their affiliation.

Ruto's allies have accused Kieleweke and the Embrace Women Group of working on the orders of some opposition figures in a bid to stop Ruto from ascending to the presidency in 2023.
