A video of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga preparing a meal for his family has excited Kenyans on social media.
Raila's daughter Winnie Odinga is heard asking him what he was preparing while he is busy doing his thing.
The opposition tells her he is preparing a German dish. He, however, does not mention the name of the meal he decided to prepare for the family
Winnie shared the video and captioned it: “Some time ago dad hopped on the stove and whipped together a German breakfast! Delicious! Happy holidays.”
Earlier on, Raila took to social media to wish Kenyans Merry Christmas.
“May the spirit of hope, peace, joy and the idea of love rather than mistrust among people flourish in us fellow Kenyans as we celebrate this day. A Merry Christmas to everyone, "he said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have also taken to their social media accounts to wish the nation God’s blessings as we celebrate the festive season. Uhuru and Ruto asked Kenyans to remain peaceful and care about their neighbours.
