On Sunday, a team of Daily Nation journalists attended his church service and were shocked when the ''man of God'' reminded his congregation on the amount they were told to come with as church offering.

“Last Sunday I asked you to come with Sh1,000. Today I want to see how many have done so. Some of you want to become rich but can’t spare Sh1,000 to give to the pastor. Lets wait and see. (Last Sunday niliwaambia muje na elfu moja. Leo nataka kuona ni wangapi wamefanya hivyo. Watu hapa wanataka kuwa matajiri na hawawezi kuletea pastor elfu moja. Ngoja tutaona),” said Pastor Ng'ang'a as quoted by Daily Nation

What amazed the journalists is the fact that the church's ground floor, which holds approximately 400 people was full.

The journalists were directed to sit on the first floor, which also had people.

While at the church, they learnt of various rules that the pastor has put in place. One of the rules that even affected them is that no one leaves the church until the end of whole services.

Another rule is that no coins are given as church offerings. More so, Sh50 notes are not allowed.

At the Neno Evangelism church, there is a session called the “Deliverance Service.” For one to enter into this session, a fee of Sh.3,500 is paid. The journalists were told that this session is specifically for the pastor to pray for people.
