So some students have therefore resorted to different ways of making sure both ends meet at the campus.

1. Business
Students starting and micromanaging business around campus has been a major sight in the recent past.
Eateries, cybers, boutiques and simple stalls are sprouting at an alarming rate thanks to the students’ innovative instincts.
The small business enterprises are bringing about untold fortunes as most of those deeply engrossed in the different ventures have been able to stabilize their financial status as well as enable them to start saving accounts.
With the space available and the market in plenty, it is common knowledge that more and more students will move towards this line in the coming days.
2. Social groups
Another key and yet subtle means students have adopted to make money has been through the formation of groups where students support each other financially.
This has been in the form of contributions where students organize themselves and contribute amounts of money in a savings account.
The money can then be borrowed.
When the money is borrowed by a member with an emergency, interest is charged.
The money can also be distributed in a round-robin format where each member gets to have a share of the contributions in a lump sum.
3. Regional student organizations
Occasionally, students from similar regions also form groups for the purpose of contributing money towards the financial stability of its members.
This may allow some of them to borrow the money and repay with an interest or just setting up a treasury to support the less fortunate within its setting.
