President Uhuru Kenyatta has reiterated his efforts to curb corruption in the country, insisting that he won't spare anyone.
For the last two years, Uhuru has been pushing for prosecution of corrupt people, with his efforts buoyed by Raila Odinga's support.
A number of ministers and top public officials have since lost their jobs due to active investigations by DCI.
On Friday at Nyandarua, Uhuru said he will ensure corrupt people are jailed, adding that nobody will be spared no matter his relationship with the person.
“Just wait and see. These people will be in Kamiti. I didn’t send them to steal. Governor Francis Kimemia, be alert. These MCAs might land you in the same trouble as seen in some other place,” said Kenyatta in reference to the impeachment of former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu.
“You have seen what they did in Kiambu. This is not the same Kenya that they knew. If your hand is long, it will be cut short not by me but those who own the resources, Kenyans,” he added.
Uhuru has often accused the Judiciary of slowing down his efforts to fight graft, although Chief Justice David Maraga has often defended his team.
