According to Ethic, KK security guards and a section of the organizers of Koroga Festival were behind the physical assault which left four of their members hospitalized.

Netizens on Sunday took to Twitter under the hashtag #JusticeForEthic where they demanded not only justice to be served for ‘Pandana’ hitmakers but also respect for the rising Kenyan artists.

Among the influential Kenyans who have joined in the call for justice is Kiss 100 producer Xtiandela who tweeted: “It's also high time that artistes rise up and speak out against such things. Don't be afraid of losing gigs or being blacklisted by organizers. If your music is good, believe you me, they will come knocking! Your own voice is what will help the industry grow,” Xtiandela Twitted.

The organizers of the Koroga Festival have not commented on the matter.
