Hollywood star Tony Goldwyn on Monday met with Kenya FilmClassification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua.
Goldwyn plays the role of President Fitzgerald Grant on American series Scandal.
A statement from Dr Mutua explained that the actor, producer, and director was in the country to deliberate on making a movie of the love story of Kenyan couple Kennedy and Jessica Odede.
"We are delighted to have celebrated Hollywood film actor, director and producer TonyGoldwyn as well as the veteran scriptwriter and film professor Jamal Joseph in the country.
"Tony and Jamal are in the country courtesy of Kennedy and Jessica Odede whose love story as captured in the New York best seller Find Me Unafraid has attracted the attention of the American film producers and will be subject for discussions for possible translation into a movie
"Many of you will recall the thrilling love story of Kennedy - the slum boy from Kibera who married an American girl, Jessica Posner from Denver and are doing great humanitarian work in the sprawling slums of Kibera here in Nairobi," the statement read in part.
Mutua further outlined the accolades of the star actor and his entourage.
