Speaking before High Court Judge Stella Mutuku, Sarah denied killing her husband.

Cohem's widow took her plea after the court allowed her lawyer Philip Murgor to continue representing her.

The Prosecution had appealed against Murgor representing Sarah noting that he was still a staff at the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.

Being led by lawyer Cliff Ombeta, they noted that Murgor was a public prosecutor since the gazette notice of his appointment had not been revoked.

However, Senior assistant DPP Catherine Mwaniki told the court that they were in the process of degazetting Murgor's resignation.

Justice Stella Mutuku therefore okayed Murgor to represent Sarah stating that someone cannot be forced to remain in an office has resigned from.

Sarah among others is being accused of murdering Tob Cohen on the night of July 19 and 20 in Nairobi.

His body was found a month and a few weeks later in a septic tank at his Kitisuru home, Spring Valley, Nairobi on September 13.

Cohem was buried a few days ago at the Jewish Cemetery in Nairobi.

Sarah and her lawyer Murgor attended the burial.
