A man has claimed that a secondary school teacher who was arrested for defiling his 11-year-old daughter is an alcohol addict.
Samuel Kerama a resident of Nyabururu village in Kisii County has alleged the 35-year-old teacher attached to Nyabururu Secondary school defiled his 11-year-old daughter under the influence of alcohol.
"The teacher is an alcohol addict who hails from Nyamira county and he is even yet to earn his first salary. He defiled my daughter under the influence of alcohol and severely damaged her private parts," said Kerama.
Kerama argued that the teacher also smokes bhang something that made him defile his daughter.
He has called on police officers not to be lenient on the suspect who is currently in lawful police custody at Kisii Central Police station.
"My daughter is in pain fighting for her life at Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital following the injuries she sustained in her private parts. I urge police not to release the suspect since I demand justice for my daughter," he added.
Kisii police commander Martin Kibet assured that the suspect will be arraigned on Thursday to be charged over defilement.
"Male teachers are taking advantage of young girls to satisfy their sexual thirsty will not be spared. The suspect will face the full force of the law to serve as an example," Kibet noted.
