Uasin Gishu County Government is seeking to recruit 650 interns from all levels of study.

According to the advertisement posted on the Uasin Gishu County website, the internship programme is aimed at giving opportunities to interns for practical experiences in their relevant areas of studies.

The graduate internship programme is payable and will see all graduates from universities and technical institutes within Uasin Gishu recruited by the government and private sector for a period of 12 months.

250 opportunities are available for diploma and degree holders for a duration of 12 months earning a stipend Sh11,500 and Sh13,500 per month respectively.

150 opportunities have been reserved for certificate holders who will be earning Sh8,500 per month.

According to the advertisement, applicants are required to be holders of Bachelor’s Degrees/Diplomas or certificates from recognized institutions in relevant areas of specialization (with the course duration having lasted not less than two years), be aged atleast 18 years but not more than 35, have no previous work experience related to the level of study, graduated not earlier than 2015 and posses valid certificate of good conduct.
