Bongo star Diamond Platnumz says he is ready to work with any artiste.
Unlike Ali Kiba who recently turned down Diamond's invitation to perform at his recent Wasafi Festival 2019 that was held in Dar es Salaam on November 9, Diamond has said he is ready to work with anyone.
Addressing the press at Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam Monday afternoon, Diamond called for unity of purpose among artistes.
"When you have events or festivals, you should as well welcome me, let us not hesitate on welcoming and inviting each other to our shows, if we work away from each other; we will keep on hating each other, we create enmity amongst ourselves (Na mimi mnapokuwa na shughuli zenu nialikeni, tusisite kualikana wenyewe kwa wenyewe, tukikaa mbali ndio tunazidi kuchonganishwa tuchukiane wenyewe kwa wenyewe)," said Diamond.
The 'Baba Lao' hitmaker concluded that artistes should know that besides their differences, their fans are the same and will still dance and sing to their tunes.
Diamond invited a number of local and international artistes to his recent show. However, his perceived arch-rival Ali Kiba turned down his invitation.
