Mr Mudavadi, a former Vice President, released a book titled 'Soaring Above the Storms of Passion' which was authored by Barack Muluka.

Mr Muluka is the Amani National Congress Secretary-General and is not a stranger to controversy both within and outside the party.

In a tweet on Monday, Manyora faulted the author, Mr Barack Muluka, arguing that he was full of malice.

"Mudavadi’s book is about a good man, written BADLY by a bitter man out to avange and fight his wars using Mudavadi and his party ANC. @MusaliaMudavadi," tweeted Manyora in reference to Muluka.

In the book, the author portrays ODM leader Raila Odinga as a liar who should not be trusted for any political arrangements.

In the past, Muluka has accused Mr Odinga of pushing for constitutional amendments for his own benefit, arguing that ANC will shoot down such attempts.

“Raila has no locus standi to sit with Uhuru and propose constitutional changes. Amendments to the country’s supreme law can only be got through Parliament or a popular vote. BBI is a mongrel and any proposal it (puts forward) is unconstitutional, and we call upon all Kenyans not to let politicians amend the law for selfish gains,” Muluka had said as quoted by Standard.

Recently, Raila insisted that Mudavadi suffered from series memory lapse in the book, adding that he wasn't ready to comment about it.
